Taking place at St Simon’s Church, Waverley Rd, Southsea, PO5 2PW on Saturday 29 March 5pm to 9:30pmthis unique gathering combines a screening of the award-winning Iranian film My Favourite Cake with an authentic Persian feast, live music, and immersive décor inspired by the beauty of Iranian gardens. John Ashlin, Portsmouth Lead for Action Asylum and project lead for Kitchen of Hope, said “This event is more than just a dinner; it’s an opportunity to explore the rich tapestry of Iranian culture through its storytelling, flavours, and music. We’re excited to bring the community together for such a meaningful cause”.
