Portsmouth City of Sanctuary runs a number of projects in Portsmouth for people seeking sanctuary such as asylum seekers and refugees. Our projects promote integration, reduce social isolation and build skills through volunteering opportunities empowering individuals and promoting friendship and well-being.
Portsmouth City of Sanctuary has partnered with organisations and venues across the City to welcome people seeking sanctuary to a place of safety. Shops, businesses, libraries, faith groups and education providers have taken part in the Spaces of Sanctuary SoS project.
