Portsmouth City of Sanctuary would like to thank the organisations who fund our charity to deliver life changing support. We do this through signposting and designing exciting projects with our community. This helps many asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable migrants feel settled.

Our staff and volunteers are experts at delivering innovative projects that enhance the lives of people seeking sanctuary. We see improvements in their wellbeing and witness them making friends as they integrate with local people in Portsmouth.

The support given to displaced people, finding themselves in Portsmouth, allows them to develop confidence and to feel welcome and safe. We feel proud to see how these people move forward, contributing to the City of Portsmouth, both economically and culturally. Some of the people we help become volunteers themselves, delivering projects and giving back to the charity.
